The association to know
Vlaamse Coeliakievereniging / SBC-VCV
Belgian coeliac societies publish venue lists and work with the European CYE network.
What to know here
- Waffles: a dedicated gluten free waffle iron exists in central Brussels — a shared iron does not count, ever.
- Frites are often fried alongside breaded snacks. Ask about the oil, not the potato.
- Beer is barley. Belgian beer culture is glorious and, with rare exceptions, not for us.
