The association to know
Polskie Stowarzyszenie Osób z Celiakią
Runs the Menu Bez Glutenu certification: staff training plus kitchen audits. The logo on a door is a strong signal.
What to know here
- Look for the Menu Bez Glutenu logo — it means the kitchen has been audited, not just asked.
- Learn one word: bułka tarta (breadcrumbs). They hide in cutlets, soups and even some sauces.
- Dedicated kitchens go well beyond salads: pizza, pierogi, sushi and kebab all exist gluten free.
